Jason Kushy is an American DJ and producer bringing a high-impact, groove-driven approach to modern house music. Based in Monterey, California, Kushy has quickly transformed a lifelong obsession with electronic music into a rapidly growing international project built around energetic records, memorable performances, and authentic connection.

His breakout Keep It Moving EP reached #18 on Beatport’s Tech House chart, helping launch a run that has since pushed the Jason Kushy catalog beyond one million combined streams. His productions and remixes have earned support from artists including SIDEPIECE, Louis The Child, Jauz, Ship Wrek, BIJOU, San Holo, Kyle Watson, Wolfgang Gartner, Bingo Players, and NIIKO X SWAE, alongside recognition from platforms and labels including Insomniac, Dim Mak, IN / ROTATION, Barong Family, bitbird, Space Yacht, and 1001Tracklists. His music has also reached audiences through international radio, including BBC Radio, SiriusXM, and Ibiza Global Radio.

The Performance

Kushy’s relationship with the decks started long before the Jason Kushy project existed. He began DJing as a teenager in Pennsylvania, learning to read rooms through years of live events before eventually turning his attention fully toward house music. That experience now translates into energetic, tightly constructed sets built around house and tech house, original productions, unreleased music, remixes, and custom edits.

Rather than treating his releases and performances as separate worlds, Kushy builds them together. The records are made for the dancefloor, and the live show gives them somewhere to live.

The DNA

Away from the booth, Kushy’s background is anything but conventional. A former Division I gymnast and graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he currently serves as an active-duty Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Officer — one of a relatively small community specializing in atmospheric and oceanographic support for Navy operations.

That same hands-on mentality extends beyond production. From music and live sets to visual direction and branding, Kushy has built the project around a recognizable identity rather than simply a collection of releases. His path from competitive athletics and military service into electronic music has shaped the discipline behind the project.
